Visbiome is a high potency probiotic medical food intended for the dietary management of dysbiosis associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) & Antibiotic-Associated Diarrhea (AAD).

How to Take Capsules

Adjustment of the intestinal flora can take a few days or weeks; it may take up to one month for the colonization of the gut to become optimally stable if consumed on a regular basis.

  • Consume 1 - 4 capsules daily or as directed by your physician.

Visbiome is shipped and stored under refrigerated conditions (36-46°, 2-8°C) to ensure vitality, as exposure to heat could inactivate some of the live bacterial strains. Every order is accompanied by a temperature monitoring sensor specifically calibrated for Visbiome.

That helps to ensure your order did not experience impactful heat events during shipping.
Visbiome and Visbiome Extra Strength can be stored at room temperature for up to one week without adversely affecting potency.

If unopened and stored under refrigeration, the product is guaranteed through ‘Best if used by’ date.

Shipping policy

Online orders for consumers received by 12:00pm ET Monday through Wednesday will usually be processed and shipped via FedEx shipping the same day in a temperature-controlled package. Any online orders for standard delivery received after 12:00pm ET Wednesday will ship out the following Monday (excluding holidays.)

All customers who need their order expedited will be charged $25.00 for overnight delivery service and $50.00 for Saturday delivery service. Any online orders for overnight delivery received after 12:00pm ET Thursday will ship the following Monday (excluding holidays). Saturday orders must be placed before 12:00pm ET on Friday.

A physical address must be provided during the ordering process since FedEx does not deliver to post-office boxes. If an order is undeliverable or not accepted, shipping charges may apply. A confirmation email will be sent once your Visbiome order has been placed. You will receive a second email with a tracking number once your order has been prepared for shipping.


If your order is placed after our shipping cutoffs for the week (more information on our schedule below*) it will be pre-packed by our distribution center and kept cold under controlled conditions over the weekend. It will then be picked up by FedEx on our next available shipping day, typically a Monday. FedEx tracking estimates delivery based on when the label is created and the method of shipping, it does not coincide with our shipping policy. A signature for delivery is not required, however, it is at the discretion of the FedEx driver to leave your package at your door. ExeGi is not responsible for stolen orders.


Orders are generally delivered in 2-3 business days but we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking information to update after Monday evening. ExeGi will ship anywhere in the United States and Canada.
